I've been remiss in not posting progress photos of the veg patch, I'm very proud of it so far, although it doesn't look much. I spent Saturday afternoon working on it again, in the rain. The volume of wood I've used to build the structure of it doubled, but at least in one dimension it is level, in fact more level than I hoped it would be.
I just need to put all the turf back that I dug up over Easter, then fill it with new soil and compost. It'll need slightly more than one 60 litre bag though, and getting a dozen of those up from the car will be interesting work for Olga this weekend while I go and play my annual round of golf...
I'm only joking, Olga!! ;-)
