Reading v Liverpool live!

It's 1-1 at half time here, I need to be careful writing this as i'm sat right behind the goal that the Reading subs are warming up in to, and they're not 100% accurate! I'd have seen Liverpool's goal but for the family who took their seats in front of me at the crucial second!

Olga's birthday on Saturday

It was Olga's birthday on Saturday 22nd, so we all dressed up and had a little party at home. Ola won't mind me saying the cake was only just big enough to get all her candles on, but she still certainly doesn't look her age!!

It wouldn't be a party without a party game, and we played Bilingual Bingo, with me reading the numbers out in Russian, then in the next game Lucy read them out in English. Olga and her mum both stuck to Russian, and if I remember correctly, everyone won one game each, which was convenient.

OK, time for a quick spot the difference contest.

OK, I know, it's obvious. The sun is shining. No, that doesn't count. Yes, that's right, the tarpaulin is off the summerhouse roof! I finished putting the felt on it last night, it's a miracle.Oh, and the huge poplar tree has gone too.

Oh, the latest medical update is that Mishka seems well on the mend, I've hardly seen him with his paw in his mouth at all, and he seems more like his normal self, unlike earlier in the week when he looked very down.
